City Moves for 12 February – who’s switching jobs at CMR Surgical, The Ozone Project and Deloitte?

CMR Surgical

CMR Surgical, the British company developing a next-generation surgical robot, has announced the appointment of Ingeborg Øie as chief financial officer and member of the Board of Directors, effective from 25 February 2019. Ingeborg joins CMR Surgical from Smith & Nephew, the FTSE 100 global medical technology business, where she was most recently finance director of Canada and previously vice president for global investor relations in the corporate headquarters since 2014. Ingeborg has significant experience in the medical devices sector having started her career as a medical devices analyst at Goldman Sachs and later becoming managing director and head of medical devices and healthcare services coverage at Jefferies International. She is currently a non-executive director of Georgia Healthcare Group, the London Stock Exchange Main Market-listed healthcare services group.

The Ozone Project

The Ozone Project, the transparent and brand safe platform for programmatic advertising, has announced the appointment of Danny Spears as commercial director. Danny will be responsible for managing relationships with customers of Ozone’s publisher platform helping them to achieve incremental growth in their digital advertising businesses. News UK, Guardian News & Media, The Telegraph and Reach are already live as founding partners of the platform. Spears’ role will see him working closely with existing and new partners to identify their challenges and provide relevant solutions. His responsibilities will also include attracting new publishers and managing the commercial, product and analytics aspects of the platform. Spears joins The Ozone Project following his role as programmatic director at Guardian News & Media, where he was responsible for global leadership of advertising technology and data strategy.


Deloitte has appointed Aadam Brown as a director in its financial advisory business. Aadam, a senior equity capital markets adviser, is joining the firm in March from STJ Advisors, where he was head of UK and advised a wide variety of corporates, private equity houses and other shareholders on a range of initial public offerings, dual-track transactions, sell-downs and private placements. Aadam’s recent transactions have involved both UK and non-UK companies including Solvtrans, the port of Tallinn, Countryside Properties and Forterra. Prior to STJ, Aadam worked in the corporate broking teams of Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse advising FTSE 350 clients. Aadam will be based at Deloitte’s head office.
